Varsity Squad is a new group out of Pittsburgh consisting of emcees Beedie, Jon Quest and producer Shade Cobain. After years of grinding independently they decided to link up to create VS. Each member holds a sound unique to their own blend of hip-hop, with every artist bringing something to the table forming a fusion of 90's hip-hop with a new-school attitude. "Mad Science" is the first single off their untitled debut album. If you are in the Pittsburgh area on Sept. 30th you can catch VS opening for Pac Div at The Shadow Lounge.
